Info about the Eighth Judicial District Court.

The new jury scam that has flared up is hitting a lot of seniors.  I spoke with one of the victims who offered some more details. The scammer told the octogenarian victim I spoke with that there was a warrant out for his arrest. The man, confident that he had a “clean bill of health” on the warrant front and knew he had been excused from jury duty, wasn’t swayed by the scammer. His wife answered the phone because it was a local number. The Nevada Attorney General’s Office is aware of the scam. Victims can call the Consumer Protection hotline at 702-486-3132.Some victims have reportedly been taken for hundreds of dollars.
